When David Jaffe has created the Top 15 best-selling games of all-time, then maybe I'll give a listen to what he has to say.
Until then, he needs to know his role & shut his mouth.
Nintendo is just fine. The only thing they need to do more of is the stuff they already do.
20 years from now, we'll still be talking about Nintendo while we'll have to dig through Wikipedia to remember who David Jaffe was.
