This means you can't time travel to the future, see our future mistakes, and come back to the present to warn us. Also means you can't go back in time and change things. Or not. That's an understatement :P We aren't even sure if time exist in a form that can be traversed, or it's nothing but a series of results. If the latter is correct then you couldn't go back in time because it doesn't exist anymore, just the consequences of those events.
