However, I agree with some of Slorg's points, though not necessarily his conclusions. Particularly his point about MS being unable to compete on games. This is something that I have been saying since the beginning, and combined with brand loyalty this was my reasoning behind the ps3 eventually passing up the 360, and it was something I was saying even during the ps3's low points last Summer. With most third party games going multiplat, it's up to 1st and 2nd parties to give each console the edge, and this is an area in which Sony excels. The fact that, of the two, the ps3 is the only one with any major third party exclusives left (MGS4, FFXIII, Tekken 6) has it's affects as well. The ps3 will eventually have a good edge over the 360 in games, imo. |
I stated that they wouldn't ever do it, it is not as though I claimed that would ever happen.
As for games, all I have argued in this thread is that the 360 currently has the best library, and will have enough great games in the future to avoid justifiably being described as "crap" by people like Slorg and Auron.
