Despite popular belief revenue and profits have steadily risen for the entire time Ballmer has been CEO.

And Windows isnt even top dog any more at MS. 

Out of interest, what do you think the impact of OS X now being free will be? (Not on these results obviously.) I've seen a lot of articles that seem to consider it a move against MS, and they will have to make up the 25% revenue on their "devices and services" restructuring.

Fair enough. Probably a decent guess as I don't think much from the Mac part of Apple has affected MS.
