How did MS drop the ball? This isn't a hardware issue. Think of Ryse and Forza 5.... Now think of CoD.

Because MS should be collaboritng with IW/whoever is making COD and get these problems fixed. COD Ghosts will most likely be the best selling title on the X1 for months/years to come, and don't forget It has timed exclusives on the DLC. Having the PS4 being a supperior version of the product is not good for MS. Also, have you seen the videos? The graphics are not exactly aweinspiring, there is no reason this game should not be 1080p.
Theres no need for me to be in denial: This is really bad for MS.

It isn't that big of a deal. Sure, it would be nice for X1 to have the superior version of CoD but I doubt the majority of CoD players won't even know of the difference, let alone notice there is one. If it was a title like... GTA VI, that would be bigger. It's more of a core title, though with gta v being so easy...

Of course it's a big deal. If majority of people is given a choice to which one to get, a COD 720p or 1080p, which do you think the majority of people will pick. I think 9 out of 10 will pick 1080p.
