No, it doesn't.  The PS3 passed the 360 in terms of active installed base quite awhile ago, well before they passed them in total sales.  This is also supported by the fact that the PS3 is the more popular device for Netflix.

"The active install base of PS3s reached 43.4 million at the close of 2010 versus Xbox 360's 42.9."  --  http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/33854/Analysts_PS3_Passes_Xbox_360_Worldwide_Nintendo_Successor_Within_A_Year.php

Also, relative to your earlier comment, the PS3's sales rate is much higher than that of the 360, which indicates that it was been the more popular machine through most of its life.  That is fact.

Nintendo Wii is the best selling system but its not the most popular. Sales dont mean popularity. People do watch more Netflix on PS3 but Xbox Live is where people game.

The Wii isn't the most popular now but it certainly was while it was still supported.  Higher sales is the very epitome of popularity.

Post some sources, please.

Post sources to what? You post some sources. LOL

The Nintendo Wii was not the most popular system even when it was being supported which is not long ago. Popularity it what everybody is talking about and even though the Nintendo Wii was selling like crazy nobody was saying anything about it. Any time you mention games people talk about Xbox 360.

I ... did.  See, the link, that's ... uh.

So, the Wii wasn't actually popular, it just went viral and everyone was buying it but ... um.  Okay.

I see.  So we're judging this by ... people you know talking about the 360?

Excuse me.  I have to go wash the cat.
