No matter how reliable, it's a rumor until confirmation. Only reason(s) I can imagine any truth to this (since the PS4 version was confirmed @ 1080p) - it is either a shoddy port or they ran out of time.

He did? He said it was 8GB of GDDR5? I was under the impression the amount was off.

Sorry for not making myself clear: Do you remember, in the early days of the consolewar that the huge footprint of the Bone OS (3GB ?) was held against it ...but then there was a rumor that the PS4´s was even bigger, he was the one to shoot it down and said that devs could use XXX GB (I can´t for the life of me remember how much... :/ )

He is not always 1000% right, but keep an eye on him he is pretty legit.
