Read again, I trust the VGChartz number, but always with a 20% to 10% margin of error. Because I have no way to check table by table of their numbers, and they have no desire to make them public, that is the best we have but the companies quarterly reports. Please, don´t derail the tread any further. I exposed my opinion why GTA V on the PS3 might be with such a unusual advange than on the 360. |
You seem upset from my perspective. Why else argue against the data?
You've pulled this 10-20% margin of error out of your butt like it's supposed to have some meaning to anyone but yourself. It doesn't. Everyone on this website knows that these are estimations except you apparently.
So again, what is the purpose of criticizing the data?
It's obvious why it sold more - it always has. The only reason GTA IV sold slightly more on the 360 is because it released in 2008 when the numbers were:
X360 - 21m
PS3 - 15.5m
With the bulk of its sales coming the first year.
