Maybe Sony did win(Yes Capcom not in there was a major oversight)they have come a long way since their PS1 days,of needing third party help to sell consoles.
At that time the third parties were more then willing to help as some of their games sold better on the PS1 then the others.
I am just playing ICO now,and even with it's wonky camera,it is a fine game
Unfortunately reviewers are the only way we can judge as to where the games should be in the rankings. We would hope that they take it seriously,be unbiased, less subjective,more critical and really play the games....to the end,
Also they should always keep in mind who the game is being made for,as many children's games get low scores,yet the kids love them,same with the casual games.
When you look at sales figures,Nintendo blows each of them away by more then a 2-1 margin,and the best part is that it's a whole new generation of gamers,who will buy more(Hardcore?) games down the road. Maybe even a different console as well,who knows?
