OOOsnap: Again you are playing the "quote-mining" game. As I said before, nobody is going to check your quotes (often over 30 years old) just to figure out what the WHOLE articles actually said. I'm sure each of your quoted authors has changed her/his mind a few times on certain things or were found out simply wrong (as new ideas have been forwarded and new discoveries have been made since). That is just how science works.
