I didnt officially get a ps1 until like a year after i got a n64. I was able to play the games at my friends house though. My uncle also had a little disc case filled with ps1 games and demos that i eventually obtained and would play at my friends house before i got my ps1. My friend had games like Spyro The Dragon, CTR, Ape Escape, Parappa The Rapper, Tony Hawk, Croc, Frogger, Driver, The Bombing islands, Tomb Raider, Cyber Tiger, a fishing game and some others.
I had a specific demo disc that he kept playing over and over because it had Final Fantasy 8 on it. I didnt really like Final Fantasy as much as i do now at the time.
When i officially got my own ps1, i got it with Crash Bandicoot 3, Tomb Raider(the one where she was in the mansion with the butler) and Final Fantasy 8. I eventually traded my friend at the time FF8 for Spyro The Dragon and some other games.
I remember one specific time me and my friend and his brothers went to another city to see his dad and his dads friend started talking to me and gave me 20$ out of nowhere. So we went to the game store so i could get a game and we seen Final Fantasy 9 and MegaMan X4 lol. He was BEGGING me to get Final Fantasy 9 but i wanted to get MegaMan lol. I eventually got MegaMan X4 and he started crying about it.
