I love how people can base their opinion of a franchise on the worst game in the series which happened to be a prequel nobody asked for and cut resources & dev time from the single player for a multiplayer component that wasn't necessary.
People aren't tired of God of War, they're tired of prequels and the latest game wasn't good enough. They need to remake God of War III like Fable/Halo Anniversary so it looks like a PS4 game and release it holidays 2015 just a few months before God of War IV in March 2016, it will be huge and wouldn't cost too much to make, they don't even need to spend anything on marketing, look at the original God of War Collection, that game sold itself and has pass 3m.
