Yes I had to cancel Netflix :( Even with the worst quality setting we still went over combined with regular use. $2 per extra Gb is not worth it.

Funny, they advertise it with, "with 80Gb you can download 40 HD movies per month", yeah at 25% of dvd quality....
Those next gen 50Gb digital download games are not an option. Steam summer sales already take months to download...
Sure we can upgrade, but I'm not going to pay $126 a month to be able to watch $8 a month Netflix.

Yea, pretty bad bandwith caps in Canada. Mine is 100 GB and i barely hit 80GB as other users in the household don't use much at all. Have you looked into some of the smaller ISP's like Tecksavvy and such. They offer 300 GB and also have unlimited plans.

The internet, cell phone and cable plans are just quite bad all around here.

I've shopped around before but the available alternatives at the time all go through the phone line and are capped at 5 mbps.
I didn't know Tecksavvy yet, speed looks comparable with 300GB limit for the same price. I'll keep that in mind for when my current contract runs out next year.
