Listen, there is plenty of room for optimism now that things are going better for the PS3, but there is a limit. Saying Sony has the best games? Seriously. Cherry picking one reviewer over another to reafirm what you want to believe. Choosing Reviews period over profits or over the ranking of largest developers. The cherry picking needs to stop if you want to have threads like this and have them taken seriously. The constant belief that Ninty fanboys are out to get you needs to stop. You're just looking at the video game world with blinders on while chasing your tails.

If Sony is going to buy someone, it will be someone small as they have done in the past. That stands to reason. While they own large stakes in both Konami and Square its unlikely the company as a whole will pony up the cash just for the gaming division. And don't over-estimate how much Sony has staked in Blu-Ray either in your eagerness to believe they'll indiscriminately throw money at the PS3. Sony is 1 of 9 companies invested in Blu-Ray and with it the shoe in for the next format, they've no real incentive to keep floating the PS3 as its chariot when much cheaper Blu-Ray players are on the horizon.

1: Stop making shooters. Please. You're not Valve or Free Radical.
2: Stop trying to force photo-realism down my throat until you can get out of the uncanny valley. Work on style and presentation instead of just pixels and bloom.
3: Try something weird and new, and hope we like it.

You'll cut costs way more than you cut revenue, and thus increase profit.
