sounds weird, got 1/1gbit here and steam is about the only place where i can cap my connection.
but uhm.. you are getting 100Mbit from your provider. do you mean 12MB/s or 12Mbps from steam?
you should be downloding in the 9-12MB/s range on a 100Mbit connection
