Well Microsoft barely felt the Xbox losses, so Sony would survive this, even if they would lose more.

And with them selling about half of what they ship, they may have to cut prices, to sell more, to get the volume up, assuming they have no other options at the time. 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
