After giving it some thought I finally discovered a mindbwloing fact.

Recently we got a lot of news of games not coming to the Wii U and the Vita because of "poor sales" so I say, what would happen if the PS4 and the Xbox One happen to have the same troubles as the Vita or the Wii U? What would third parties do? What would they blame then?

Is "poor sales" really the reason? Or are we in fact in front of some sort of overlycomplicated and malefic conspiracy plan created by third parties?

What do you think?

The industry will come up with other excuses.

Because the industry is stupid.  Why? Because the industry is making games for Xbone and PS4 that currently have 0 install base compared to what? 4 million on WiiU. 0 is obviously more than 4 million!

Let me give you another exanple:
ZombiU sold 530k? And was not even close in making Ubisoft a profit? ohkaaay?  So this means it didn't break even.

But Watch Dogs is expected to sell 6.2 million copies (noone expects their game to just break even otherwhise they would not make games. So 6.2m automatically means break even and generate alot of profit)

Now keep in mind that WiiU had 0 install base at launch (when ZombiU came out and yet 530k is not even close.. So they at least expected 1 million I guess?)

Can you follow me? Great.

Now compare 1 million ZombIU's (a game that looks meh and has mediocre/low production value) to the 6.2m Watch Dogs is supposed to sell. A game which looks awesome (high production value).

So how exactly is selling 530k on a NOW 4 million install base (without ads/commercials etc)  NOT EVEN CLOSE or FAIL???

In the unlikely event of PS4 and X1 having the same slow start as WiiU then having 530k on both systems would end up at 1.06m sales.  And Ubisoft is also bringing this game to a install base of 155m+  PS360's. Also to PC and roughly 4m WiiUs (thats a 4m bigger WiiU userbase then ZombiU had!).

So lets do some math.
Expected sales are 6.2m - 1.06m(PS4X1) = 5.14m

Conclusion
Ubisoft expects a game with high production value (that needs more money to break even and turn a profit than ZombiU) to ONLY sell 5.14m on roughly 160m PS360U's + PC  and yet they want a (mediocre production value) ZombiU to sell more than 1m on a single console with 0 userbase at launch?

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFL?

The industry is stupid and should collapse already.    I am not saying that devs are stupid its more publishers and those greedy bastards we know as shareholders.  They have NO IDEA whats going on yet they dictate what should be done.  Even if devs have great innovative ideas they will certainly interfere and say something like "ME NEEDZ MORE MONEEZ!!  Do the same shit you did last year just minor changes understood! I cant risk losing a single (not at all) earned cent of mine!!!"
