RolStoppable said: Got the game today and completed the first two zones (four levels per zone). The controls have the usual awkward 3D Sonic feel to them, so it takes some time to get used to the forward/sidewards movement, as well as the new moves. Got a game over in a level with automatic forward movement because of that. That level would have been suited more to putting Sonic on rails for higher precision; as it is, it's easy to steer a little bit too much or less and thus fall off or hit a wall. What else? My copy has either no or almost silent voice acting during cutscenes. I'll switch to English and see if the problem persists, the German voices are pretty bad anyway (so a bugged copy kinda feels like a positive point). The game also froze once. Anyway, first impression is that it is easy to dislike the game, because it doesn't click right away. So it's like most 3D Sonic games; or all of them, depending on how you feel about them. One more thing: To all the people who pushed the idea that Sonic Lost World > Super Mario 3D World at one point or another, you are idiots. But I guess you know that already since the most recent SM3DW trailer. |
Still waiting for my copy of the game to arrive. Bought it for 35€ but now I feel a bit worried because of the reviews. (would obviously feel worse if the game would have been 50-60€)
On the other hand I bought it to support Sega bit because I was expecting a 90%+ game (Gimme some Skies of Arcadia 2 or whatever !!!)
