honestly the ps3 doesn't do anything better than the 360. they are both comparable in terms of power. sony has a harddrive but guess what 360 has a 120 gb harddrive so its bigger, and it was innovative last gen when xbox was the first to introduce a built-in harddrive. also last gen xbox innovative with live and they've fine tuned that this gen. i don't see anything sony has done or is planning to do thats gonna innovate over live. the only thing new they've done is blu-ray. but using a bigger storage medium for games isn't innovation, its normal. it happens every single generation. and littlebigplanet is not an innovation in terms of looking at the systems as a whole. its a single innovative game. thats it.

360's innovation is the improved live and the whole marketplace deal and everything that goes with their online service especially the downloadable games. and yes once wiiware hits the wii will have perfected what 360 started with the DL games but the innvation was from microsoft.

wii's innovation is an entirely new way to play games and that is the true innovation of this gen. its the only big innovation since the n64 innovated with really showing how 3d games should be made, rumble, analog stick, and 4 controllers built-in.

and no hd graphics isn't an innovation its the normal progression on more powerful systems each gen. and for the same reason hd graphics aren't the future cuz that doesn't make any sense. yes future systems will have hd graphics, but again, read two sentences ago, its the normal progression of things. its does absolutely nothing to change and improve the way we play games, which is what the wii does and microsoft's online service does.

end of '08 predictions: wii - 43 million,  360 - 25 million, ps3 - 20 million

Games I've beat recently: Super Mario Galaxy, Knights of the Old Republic, Shadow of the Collossus
