Yep, it is, particularly when the X1 doesn't have a game like Killzone: ShadowFall. Also, I have nothing against saying I prefer the PlayStation and would rather have a PS4 first (and saving $100 is never a bad thing, no matter the circumstances).

Sony did their homework and I'm pleased to see it. I had an Xbox 360 first, last time around (for the same reason), but again, I usually grab PlayStation consoles at their launches (except The Daddy). So, this shouldn't be any exception.

That's true, if your main concern is an exclusive shooter, PS4 is the advantage at launch. Would TitanFall being an X1 launch title have swayed you?
