They only need to go back to their PS1 tactic of publishing and distributing the games in the west and hopefully they can get some of this content across. Although they're not system movers like GTA and Call of Duty, getting these sort of games still would help convince more people to buy a Vita. Which is what Sony needs right now, probably far more-so than Borderlands 2, as much as I can't wait to get that on Vita. |
I agree, loalizing one or two JRPGs won't have much of an effect, but if they keep at it and localize more and more games the cumulative effect will be greater than what most people think. One of my favorite things about the PSP was all the niche JRPGs that got localized, now it seems like Sony has gone the other way and thinks indies can save them...
