So what's the problem folks? Is it poorly educated masses, indoctrination, parents, scientific failure?

There's no way for you or I, or anyone else, to know whether or not God is the being/ deity/ whatever who caused everything that exists to come into existence.  For all we know, God might be responsible for what is our limited human theory of evolution.  For all we know, God doesn't exist and things just randomly occur.  The point is, we don't know.

I don't think it's accurate or fair to paint a group of people as being ignorant simply because you don't believe what they believe.

None of us have all the answers.  None of us have even a fraction of the answers.  There is a lot that we as humans still don't know.  Part of humanity is learning new things and continuing to grow and develop our knowledge.

I think there has been a misunderstanding in here that is pervasive.

This is strictly about evolution vs creationism. Not creationism vs science.

Evolution - abundance of evidence. Creationism - Zilch. And it is in this respect that I speak ill of the proposition.
