Have played ~30 hours this weekend, here are my impressions so far:

1) Analogue movement is poorly executed, D-pad movement is better for God's sake. On skates, the player moves too fast and all over the place.
2) 3D implementation is terrible, when it's available. Greatest downside of the game so far.
3) Global Exp. Share is a mixed bag. On on hand, less grinding, and even leveled Pokes. On the other hand, I had a Gardevoir and an Azumarill in my team, and I couldn't swap in to Azumarill at all. Even using Gardevoir all the time, the exp.share leveled Azumarill to higher levels than the former -.-
4) Pikachu is the only "voiced" Pokemon. Shame, but understandable, and a great oppurtunity for the inevitable Pokemon Z.
5) Overall pacing of the game is smooth, fresh and unpredictable.
6) Story still sucks.
7) Online is simply amazing. In these 30 hours, I've traded with lots of people, with mere 2-3 taps.
8) Graphics, the world, scope and animations are spectacular. Even the ugliest Pokemon look interesting and deserve a spot in your team now.
9) The game is PACKED with Pokemon, lots of choices.
10) The new Pokemon roster is a bit small, and the Mega Evolutions don't hype me much.
11) Battle system shakeup is real nice, Mega Evolutions and the new Fairy type should make competitive scene much more exciting.
12) Music and effects are sublime.
13) Not even a mother could love Klefki. Sorry.
