This new song is decent but unremarkable.

I think I haven't heard a new Boy George song in more than 20 years, but boy, his voice has changed.

Voice comparison: The Crying Game (1992) http://www.myvideo.de/watch/1678300/BOY_GEORGE_The_crying_game

Do You Really Want to Hurt Me was one of the best pop singles of the 80s and he was one of the voices of the decade.

Culture Club could have become bigger than they were thanks to Boy George's outstanding lead voice, but the band members weren't exactly great songwriters - unlike e.g. the guys from Depeche Mode, New Order, Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, Prefab Sprout's Paddy McAloon (his new album Crimson/Red - just released a few days ago http://www.prefabsproutalbum.com/ - is almost as excellent as some of his best 80s/90s works) or The Cure's Robert Smith.

Thanks for that man, il check out those links!

i agree about the Culture Club, the issue was the music they used to write just wasnt good enough for them.
