Anandtech has made 2 reviews, one with the R9 280X Toxic from Sapphire, and another review with 2 cards: Asus' R9 280X DirectCU II TOP and XFX's R9 280X Double Dissipation. The XFX one is the only that runs at stock speeds, so it's the one to look for when comparing the 280X with the 7970 GHz.
[H]ardOCP has reviewed the Asus one and Tom's Hardware has gone with the reference cards.
Please excuse my bad English.
