Yet it also references actors like keith david who also does voice acting for small titles like the first fallout and the first saints row so I don't know what your excuse is about JRPGS also having a smaller fraction of the costs since small titles can also have costly actors too.

Keith David is a famous actor, there is no way he got paid anywhere near the same amount of money for doing voice acting that say the voice actor for Jude got...

Your pretty bad at reading aren't you ?

That point just works against you...first you said they should cut the voice acting, now your saying even small titles can have costly voice actors...

Yet it doesn't make them any less of a failure, now does it ? I'm only saying that publishers need to realize the cost effective soltuion instead of trying to make expensive localizations.

Maybe for series that have a hard time making profits off localizations, but that is not the case for the Tales of Xillia.  I remember they announced they would localize Tales of Xillia 2 before Tales of Xillia even came out, that means they knew they would make a profit just from the pre-orders they had at that time.  Btw I think it was a few weeks before Xillia even came out so the pre-orders couldn't have been that high compared to the final sales.

I guess tales of is one of those special series like final fantasy that is relevant in america then but be happy that it is lucky to make profit when completely localized when other JRPG's aren't able to do the same.
