Who said i'm offended, besides you? Kratos being an asshole is the greatest thing about this franchise. Now take you babbling outta here. The thread is not about Kratos or God of War. You seem to be on auto repeat.

EXACTLY! Kratos is the asshole we'd all be if we had been through all the shit he did and we had the power he possessed to enact revenge on those responsible. Kratos was the general/captain of the spartan army and for a brief period of time, the God of War, how else would he be? He's supposed to be the ultimate badass, not a goody-two-shoes Mr. Happy!

God of War doesn't need to go anywhere, even God of War: Ascension is on track to sell 2m this year and 3m+ lifetime (based on NPD + GFK undertracking) and Kratos is just too popular to replace, it'd be like Nintendo/Microsoft replacing Mario/Master Chief. Sony doesn't have another character half, or even a quarter as popular as him.

A new internal IP will come first but God of War and Kratos will return on the PS4 and it will be magical.
