Exactly. It may be easy-ish to fix in this case, but there will be at least some problems with the service forever, especially after Xbox 360 or Live support ends. DRM in general is bad precisely because it is certain the issues of hardware-locking, random denial, support ending causing problems and overly complex distribution systems, and it still doesn't deter the knowledgeable pirate to a large extent.
