The constant shit talk certainly harms things further, don't get me wrong, but the reality is the Vita DOESN'T have a big exclusive seller. No exclusive GTA, no exclusive Metal Gear, no exclusive Final Fantasy, no exclusive Monster Hunter, no exclusive Dragon Quest, not even Sony's own Gran Turismo... And you'll realize outside of Dragon Quest, all of those had exclusive PSP installments. That's what sold the PSP on top of dedicated portables simply being me desirable back then due to no real mobile competition yet. Yes, it got an exclusive CoD installment, but word also got out incredibly fast that it was a real stinker.
The conclusion I'm coming to is Sony really doesn't want to bother with funding 3rd party exclusives anymore. As they're cutting back and trying to spend wiser and overall less risky, they're opting more and more on simply growing their own 1st party.
