A bad product? Maybe I didn't tried myself. But it changed the headphone industry... before it headphones was never a consumer buy... this gadget changed that "making headphones as much fashion accessories as they are listening devices". It have 64% of the market. And you can disagree but most reviews I read praises it audio quality and design. Casual consumers only buy headphones today because this little one |
I guess I misunderstood you. You said they were a great choice. I assumed you meant that they were a great set of headphones, rather than a great choice for the list.
I don't even know if that's the case. I, and many people I know, had a decent set of headphones before beats. Also, majority of people still use earbuds in public places.
What did the reviews praise? I can't see it being praised for anything besides playing hip-hop and stuff like that; it isn't great for rock, classical, jazz, etc. Design is okay, nothing that stands out. But they really aren't comfortable. They weigh down on the top of the head just as much as other headphones I've tried after you use them for a while. The pads are also too small.
I guess what I'm trying to do is dissuade people from getting these. Because for the same price you can get products that are of much higher quality.
