I have to admit ,despite I enjoyed the game enough to play it completely twice, that it was somewhat disappointing and the reasons are basically what he is saying. Good artistic design, good characters and a clever (but flawed) ending don't compensate poor and repetitive combat mechanics and pacing too fast forgetting to develope most of its political and social topics, not forgetting the unjustified violence.
The game feel like a rollercoaster, but not in a good way, too many things happening but no one satisfactory.... it felt incomplete. For me, a solid 7'5, not a 9 like the original gamespot review but not a 4 either....
