I doubt that. They're currently only efficient for a small subset of tasks and it'll be difficult to leverage their power for most people.

In 10 years it'll still be in the domain of academia I think.

They certainly pose a risk to most encryption algorithms if they work as advertised. NP complete problems will be solved in P time.
