so a 3rd party company whose contracted to put the PS4's together is engaging in practices in which it has for years?

oh and by the way, Foxconn is also assembling the XB1.. http://www.geek.com/games/foxconn-is-already-assembling-the-new-xbox-for-microsoft-1555877/

so are you trying to imply that Foxconn is only using these college students on PS4's and not the XB1 aswell?

That article is inaccurate.  But great job posting it from REDDIT.

Flextronic is actually assembling 90% of the Xbox One's, with Foxconn getting 10%.

The article you linked in your comment is inaccurate for a number of reasons, but the biggest one of all is that Microsoft didn't release to manufacturing the Xbox One until August.

thanx for more clarification, i just remembered hearing that foxconn was in on making them, and googled "foxconn making xbox"   and that was the top result.

Was it on reddit? i dont use it and the only time im ever on there is when someone links a discussion that may or may not be a juicy read.

Yep.  Someone tried to use it to suggest that the Xbox One was being manufactured in the same regard by Foxconn.  They are not.

It's possible, at the time of the Geek.com article, that Foxconn was working on development kits, but I'm guessing that after that article Microsoft decided Flextronic probably would keep quiet about it.
