Second of all no they were not.  Two of the most beautiful games to play and coolest minimalist stories told this gen.  Journey reminded me a lot of SotC as I played them very close together.

Second, I liked them man, I just think they are overrated. They are beautiful experiences but they lack on the gameplay deparment! There is more to a game than art style and minimalisitc stories.
