Kinect is the Backbone behind the Xbox one as the "All in one" living room system. Where you connect everything through it and it works great to manage all your home entertainment. Whether it's a smart move or not in my opinion depends on if it sells like a console (probably not) or sells to a lot of people for non console reasons |
Not really, there are noe an extra (nearly) 80 million blu-rays in peoples home, this also helped the blu-ray vs HD-dvd war, and now other companies (micorsoft) are using the same tech, I don't see how that failed
outside of America i think its pretty much failed...as what deals for Tv do they have in the EU? in all those different countries?

80 extra million Blu-ray players nobody uses. Have you actually seen any recent blu-ray media vs DVD numbers... they aren't pretty... and they're shinking.
As for Blu-ray vs HD-DVD. That was never a real fight, Blu-ray never had a chance to lose. HD-DVD at best had halfhearted studio support, while Blu-ray was OWNED by one of the largest movie studios.
I'm not sure what your second sentence means.
