do i need that camera to play gta/call of duty? in what way does that benifit me playing those games, its doesnt, it isnt needed, its a perhiperal, if i was into games that involved a camera, or i wanted to skypre, then sure id need it and then go buy the perhiperal (optionally).....but I dont want/need it, so why do i have to purchase the console at a higer price because they want me to have it, its not a nessecity

Do you need Wii Nunchuck to play or Wii U tablet to play Mass Effect 3, Batman, etc etc. If I wanted to play touch or wave gaming Id have bought it for my Wii/ Wii U seperately.

A peripheral is an after thought idea which is an add on.
Xbox One is as it is. Kinect 2.0 is not an add on and not a peripheral.
Xbox One is not Xbox 360 or PS3.

if my girlfriend decides to buy a family fun orientated game, then she can buy a camera for the ps4.

Kinect 2.0 is Xbox One. Its built directly into the motherboard of Xbox One. The console part is as much of Kinect as the camera is.

I do accept it. Thats not what this is about. Its about PS fans saying Microsoft will admit defeat and do a Kinectless Sku. Thats not going to happen. Theres 5 chips built into the GPU that are purely for Kinect. My point is, people keep saying Kinect camera can go. But that isnt all that Kinect is.
Its like talking to children.

ahh right, well i havnt said that, ive just been saying i dont and will never buy it because it would be pointless to me paying extra for someting i wont use... I think the reason a lot of ps fans want a kinectless SKU is because like myself, I would get one if it didnt come with the camera
