Best solution. When you get a new game, as soon as you get home, turn on your console and start install. Comeback later and start update. Then when your gaming time comes around you are all set. At least that's what I do.
If your gaming time is right when you get home, while installing/updating turn on one of your other consoles and game or watch Netflix.
It's just part of modern gaming.
