Are you absolutely sure? "Do whatever you want" from the devs means that. You might get funds to make a project and then release it to the public. Or accept donations. In those two cases you're getting money.

Its not like that. You can mod or change others creations. Its a Free 2 play game. Only money that gets exchanged is buying further content for building. You cannot change someones creation by 1 tree and sell it on. Its Free 2 play.
