I think a lot of the complaints came from it being a port of an iOS game which was charged at budget price on PS3 (think it was like £15) but full-price on Vita. That, and it had slowdown issues.
I think the game itself was seen as a fairly competent Diablo-clone. Is that a fairly accurate description? I might pick it up once it's selling for peanuts, since I quite like the isometric action RPG genre.
