The first thing I felt when I use windows 8 is the lack of freedom, I know Win 7 is not Linux but still I can go to regedit, cmd, powershell, control panel, create bat files, customize my environment with ease, but then again I know how to use all of those tools and even more. The thing with windows 8 is that MS is forcing you to use this O.S. the way they want to.

....Why in the world would you purchase a product if you don't like the OS, or "what they're forcing you to use." It's like going to McDonalds and being upset with them for forcing you to order things from their menu. It's just silly.

Windows 8 is fine and practical, but its designed strictly for tablet users in mind, and not for "old-school" (mouse + keyboard) PC users. If you enjoy/use/need Office  and prefer a touch-interface, its great for productivity. If you're a normal person, you use Windows 7.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
