You guys.... these are giant mega-corporations we're talking about. Tens of thousands of employees in a dozen countries throughout the world. Layers upon layers of embedded practices and bureaucracies that none of us could hope to unravel.
You guys think either one of them is inherently "good" or "bad"?
They simply exist. Their sole purpose is to make as much money as possible for themselves and their shareholders. What probably happened was someone at Sony took pity on the handicap person and offered a free PS4 at launch for the inconvenience. An individual. Not an entire company. Someone working the Microsoft presence at the show obviously didn't have the same reaction. So what?
That any of you are defending and/ or chiding an entire corporation and passing judgement because of this single, insignificant incident, is confounding to say the least.
