Well they do want to enter the console market with these "Pre-Built PC's" so they would be competing. I still don't see it being big if the price is too high. If it weas cheaper than the competition it would have a point but at least I don't see the reason to buy a Steam Machine. You could keep using a PC. Or play on the PS 4 and Xbox One. I think we overestimate the importance of the graphics. It doesn't matter that Call of Duty and Battlefield look worse on consoles, they still sell a lot!

But who knows, maybe Valve do makes the next big thing and disrput the market! We have to wait and see.

Well we pretty much agree. SteamOS as it is won't do a thing, just like nVidia Shield which is a total failure. It needs to do something more. It needs to give us a reason to buy it instead of a console. This tablet integration would be enough of a reason for me, as it would give us something that every gamer values and that consoles just can't offer. I would most probably just get a PC, tablet and buy the consoles on the cheap at the end of the generation to play those few big exclusives if this happened.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
