i don't have ps2 numbers but i have last/current gen numbers. these numbers, btw, don't refect "first week" numbers but the cumulative first week across the N. American, Europe, and Japan regions. this is an important details because systems like the ps3 had very staggered launches.

...as you may now start to realize 6.5M is quite the high bar to set knowing past performance of other systems. 2M would be to me the absolute ceiling imo and don't forget that would still include japan's launch which isn't actually until feburary.
