to be fair japan is not even 3% of the world population... there is more to be gained on emerging countries and china for MS than throwing money at a lost cause like japan where home console is on the decline anyway.... well it's the population as a whole that is on the decline over there that's the real reason of console sales decline.... it's an aging country....
