Destiny Of Spirits, Vita Monster Collecting RPG, Kicks Off Global Beta On October 24
Destiny of Spirits from Q Entertainment and Sony’s Japan Studio is a monster battling game for PlayStation Vita. What’s unique about the game is the types of monsters you collect are determined by the Vita’s GPS sensor. If you’re playing Destiny of Spirits in Japan you may collect youkai, but in the Americas you may catch creatures inspired by Native American mythology.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced a global beta test called the Nine Days of Destiny scheduled to begin on October 24 and will end on November 1. The beta test will allow players to collect all of the spirits and visit all of the areas in the game. Sony teased collaboration spirits and it looks like Toro and Kat from Gravity Rush might be in Destiny of Spirits.
Destiny of Spirits will be released as a free to play game for PlayStation Vita.

The interesting part of this is, imo, seeing Kat being promoted there. They are loving to push her on some crossover stuff! I think they defined this IP as one of the central PS Vita IP and I'm very ok with that :P Would love to see it getting huge and with Sony reenergized I actually have some faith they can make Kat relevant in the gaming world.
