MH can get monster sales on any platform as soon as its user base gets large enough, so Capcom won't ever give its lifetime exclusive to anybody. But knowing they'd have waited for PSV to exceed a given mimimum user base before releasing on it, they could have sold Ninty a timed exclusive for 3DS, this way they'd get the money for the exclusive, the sales on 3DS and later the sales on PSV (surely higher than realeasing on it sooner), so a timed exclusive for 3DS is a win-win situation for Capcom. Sony will have to support PSV sales alone of with the help of other 3rd parties until its user base is large enough for Capcom's appetite.
