Been an Iphone guy for a few years (was hanging onto my 3gs, which actually held up pretty well for being over 3 years old). But recently it began to fall appart, litterally. Volume button fell off, the back got cracked, and it would often switch from silent to ringtone by itself which got annoying. And I was about at the end of my rope with the sluggish 3g internet speeds. So I figured it was time to upgrade. I was pretty much in the middle between the S4, or the HTC One. But I knew I wanted an android this time. I found the IOS, which pretty solid, was becoming too restricting for me, the more I learned how to tinker with my phone. So I did some extensive research, and found that the consensus among the techies slighly leaned towards the One, so I pulled the trigger there, just last week actually.

So far, I haven't been dissapointed. There are a couple of quirks here or there to get used to, particularly the music setup which doesn't seem as conveniant as Itunes to me, but overall it's a solid device. The camera crushes the Iphone 3, resolution is super crisp, runs very fast, battery life is formidible, and excellent on power saver mode, and the speakers are surprisingly good for a smartphone. It was also $150 compared to the $200 S4, so with that in mind especially, I think I made the right choice.
