Pretty much what I thought about it from the start. It finally looks like Nintendo's got a clue as to why 2D Mario games sell so much better than the 3D series and what the 3D games lack, and are trying to bring those things over in 3D World. Just in the newest trailer, I see several additions which, I feel, would have made the Galaxy games much more enjoyable. Just for instance, the power-ups, which have honestly been pretty much a joke in previous 3D Mario games, now appear to be versatile, useful outside the intended setting, and actually convenient for offensive purposes. With the Cat Suit, for example, you can clearly attack enemies with greater efficiency by using the charge attack, run faster, and reach new areas/take alternate paths by scaling walls. That's just one power-up. When did you ever use any of the power-ups in the Galaxy games outside context-sensitive situations? Other than Yoshi, who only appeared in a few specific levels, and would always leave you after you'd beaten it. The level, I mean. (*insert domestic violence joke*)

And there would appear to be loads of power-ups in this game, like the Boomerang Suit which I already think is OP, the Tanooki suit, the Piranha Plant Pot, that weird face-cannon-thing, et cetera. I really think it looks more fun than any of the previous 3D Mario games I've played. Might pick it up if I ever end up buying the console.
