No that's right, it's just like the 360 with the batts although I'm unfamiliar with what the kit costs for the 360.

I didn't know that.  I just assumed the controller would be rechargeable.  That's kind of lame, to be honest.  A way to keep the XO price down a bit, though, I guess.

Yeah, it seems to be a real big deal to a lot of people but I see it as a minor annoyance at most. As MonstaMack said, Eneloops FTW. I've been using them for years for all of my AAA and AA battery needs around the house, they really are great IMO.
