My favorite racing game will have to be Need for Speed: High Stakes. It was for the PS1 and I played that game like crazy. I would use the steering wheel and pretend I'm actually driving the car in real-life.
That game was the best ever.
In order I would put: Need for Speed series, Gran Turismo, Burnout, Ridge Racer.
